Insurance in 2 minutes
Every rental needs a certificate of insurance (COI) that covers the gear itself. Here is exactly what to ask for.
1. The right type of coverage
Ask for inland marine / rented equipment coverage (sometimes called "equipment floater" or "production equipment"). A general liability or event policy covers injuries and other people's property, not the gear you rent, so it does not work on its own.
2. The right amount
The limit must be at least the replacement value of everything you rent. You will find it on each item's page, and we list the total on your invoice.
3. The right dates
From your pickup day through your return day, including the morning you bring the gear back.
4. The right name on it
